Inspection using Dymco’s exceptionally flat stainless conveyor belts, allows our customers to go from random inspection, to a 100% accurate inspection at an automobile parts factory

Dymco’s proprietary stainless steel belts technology offer minimum elongation, surface distortion and vibration during the manufacturing operation, while keeping a constant pre-programmed distance between any given part and a fixed camera or laser sensor for continuous inspection.

  • Inspection is made possible in clean rooms as well, since particulate matter is mostly eliminated and static electricity can be discharged throughout the metal belt and metal pulleys.
  • Reflection on metal surfaces can be eliminated by coating.  
  • Fluoroplastic coating effectively cancels reflection of the belt surface.  Coating colors of black, silver, brown, and green are available.

  • In cases where more precise flatness is required, or materials like plastic film or battery electrodes are inspected, perforated vacuum belts are recommended to maintain accurate positioning of the product on the belt.
  • DYMCO’s Conveyor belt surface distortion/fluctuation (Z direction) is expected to be about 80 microns and less throughout the length of the belt.
  • Unlike other companies, Dymco does not depend on independent third-party stainless steel suppliers. Our steel is supplied by our own materials division and our quality control parameters are the highest standards by which other companies gauge their strictest tolerances.
