Imprint Molds at Highly-functional Material Week TOKYO 12.08, 2021
12th Highly-functional Material Week TOKYO has opened today at Makuhari Messe, Japan.
DYMCO exhibits ‘Imprints Molds’ here.
Conventionally transfer of microstructure on films has been made sheet by sheet by flat molds.
Our idea is to make it a cylinder-type mold.
Then the mold rotates, and microstructure is transferred continuously!
This is evaluated by thin film makers and users in industries of electronic components and optical films.
We made it possible with our precise cut and weld.
Nickel electroformed microstructure plates are cut into defined squares and welded to make a large plate with microstructure.
Finally, its ends are welded, and a cylinder is made.
This cylinder is inserted to the core roll and Imprint Mold is made.
Pictures of this exhibition will be shown next week.
